The Kursavalians
-
Duke Arnlor of Uridge
- Duke Arnlor is Queen Tullia's cousin, and a former squire to a Paladic knight of Issiad. Arnlor fought alongside Pherenath in the siege of Llanmir, and at his death took the Holy Avenger to the Larowmor Forest. He was given shelter there by King Ortar during the reigns of the Green Lady and Aragorn.
- Aspen;
- A staunch fighter and member of the party, it was thanks to Aspen that the original party members were rescued. Aspen suffered slightly in the knowing what sex he was - at his death he was a female, polymorphed into a male, though he was born male, so even his closst companions were never quite sure.
-
Lady Brangwen Bladesworn, Knight Commander
- A strong fighter, Bran was disguised as a boy and on the run from her affianced and her future as a lady, when she joined Sir corwin's adventuring party. Sold out by Whiteflight just before the siege of Lanmere, she managed to talk her way out of the wedding. After release in 1160, Brangwen joined the rebel forces of Queen Tulia, where she was knighted. Brangwen was made Knight Commander and Queen's Champion in 1161. Brangewn has purchased two gryffon eggs from Janil. As of 1166, the knights of Kursavale number nineteen. Bran really doesn't get along with Duke Randall.
-
Ct Felquin, the Lord Magistrate
- Felquin was formerly one of the late King Aleksandr's knights, before being appointed to Magistrate at the end of the war. The Lord Magistrate is in charge of Justice in Kursaval.

-
Count Kael of Barandor
- Kael is a half-elf ranger of Issiad. Kael was "found" by a woodsman as a baby in the forests somewhere south of Kurseval. At an early age (approximately 12) his guardian died and he travelled the woods on his own, keeping away from civilisation. He eventually met-up with Corwin, and travelled with him for a couple of years before meeting the rest of the party. Kael came to the attention of the nobility at the tournament at Vern, where he was chosen to fight as Duchess Jekya's champion. Kael has performed many services for Kursavale, and was knighted by King Alexandr XIV. He was named by Count Svalrik of Barandor as his heir. Count Svalrik died in the siege of Llanmir, and Kael was challenged by Rostenfur to his right to Barandor. Ever unassuming, Kael was prepared to give up the claim, when he died in the temple of Baephius. He was resurrected by Aisen and sent to Blakmar where he was trapped for five years. On his release, Kael joined Queen Tullia in the Grusken mountains and fought against Aragorn's forces in 1161. Kael was then awarded the countship of Barandor. He loathes elves as they obviously abandoned him, takes pity on humans as they always run around in circles, and likes dwarves for their sense of purpose and he always knows where he stands with them. All he wants is a quiet life and one day soon he may disappear
back into the woods to focus on the balance of nature.
-
Count Klerryed, the Field Marshall
- Klerryed is the half-elf son of the late Duchess Neumya of Uridge. He was appointed Field Marshall in 1161. The Field Marshall commands the Queen's forces.
-
Kurngrim
- A beserker. With PMT. Kurngrim never actually killed any party members, but this was mainly due to the rest of the world holding her back. With an intelligence of 7, a personal vendetta against Aragorn, and the ability to turn into a bear, Kurngrim was a powerful force for good. She's now quit the army, and gone home to Shaytan to be a farmer. She was offered both Countess and Army General, but was
honest enough to know the thinking part would just be too hard. Kurngrim owns a Mace of Disruption.
-
ArchDuke Myelorn, the Lord Chamberlain
- ArchDuke Myelorn trained as apprentice to Arch Duke Hesparion, who held this post in the years before the war. He is a diviner of no little talent, and as Chamberlain co-ordinates Kursaval's internal affairs.
-
Nyn'Thrin, Master of Scrolls
- I am a clerk, under ArchDuke Myelorn
-
Count Peterick, the Lord Chancellor
- Count Peterick is the eldest son of the former High priest of Issiad, ArchBishop Vesparion. Peterick was raised to his position in 1161, and oversees Kursaval's finances.
-
Quintith, Lord Wizard
- Quintith is a werebear mage, possibly the greatest spellcaster in Hurssia, excluding the dragons. Quintith has been Lord Wizard as long as anyone can remember. He has responsibility for Kursavale's magic policy. He keeps himself to himself, and generally does as he sees best, turning up when he wants to. Noone knows where he goes when he isn't around. The Dwarves of the Gruskan mountains have a means of getting in contact with him, provided by Quintith, as presumably, does Tullia. Quintith is able to cast wish and has been known to do so.
-
Taekmar (died 1160)
- After introducing herself to the party with the immortal words 'I'm a thief' she never did have much chance. Taek travelled to Blakmar where her head was cut off because she told the truth under questioning about the magic omelette experience. Her head was thrown into Randell and Iggy's cell, where their long slide of depravity began.
-
Duke Torman of Rew
- Torman gained control of Rew at an early age. During a hunting trip in the Kaveel Forest 1155, Tormen was kidnapped by a Tersen baron, and rescued by sir Kael and Sir Corwen's adventuring party. From 1156 to 1160, Tormen masterminded the rebellion from within Kursavale's borders, which brought down the palace in Nyr'Danr at a crucial moment.
-
Queen Tullia
- Tullia is a human bard. After her father King Aleksandr XIV, and her older brother were killed by the Green Lady in 1157, Tullia escaped to the dwarven halls of Thalagor. There, with the aid of King Galar, King Thekk and King Ortar, Tullia led the rebellian aaginst Aragorn. Tullia was crowned Queen in 1161, and has sworn fealty to the Emporer Lucknar. Tullia rules Kursavale - under her are the nobles, and her six advisers. These are the Field Marshall General, the Lord Magistrate, the Lord Chancellor, the Lord Chamberlain, the Lord Wizard and the Knight Commander.
