Robbing Hood (10 Weeks)
- The group hear of a valuable cargo heading past the Kavil forest hideout, where we as outlaws under the rule of Aragorn, are based. We ambush it just on the Kursivalian, Tursen border and battle undead troops, a necromancer and Sir Pedigore in a new, not-improved, Skeletal Warrior state. The cargo includes three chests, the best of which contains a necromantic bone box, which we were unable to open. We carried this round with us for a while until we were all arrested and it was taken from us as we approached Blackmar. No positive effects from this one, but we did see 100 villagers executed whilst we were stubbornly refusing to hand it back. Plus we released 10 captives in a supposed trade-off that we double crossed them in. One of them was the Queen's contact, Hiren von Stankorst.
Cunningly enough, he was travelling to Blakmar to visit a darling long lost brother. Aspen told us about the previous party members who were captured in Blakmar, and off we set to rescue them, and deliver Hiren. Amazingly, we do, and are rewarded with the return of our characters. Except Malcolm - Whiteflight died, never to be seen again, due to Malcy's being pissed at Jack's AD&D.

The letters
to whom it may concern
the letter Finds you at your greatest hour of need. your courage and bravery has been noted by the many spies under my command. few know my nme and fewer Live to tell it. what You seek has recently come to my attention and it is with gReat pleasure that i am able to reward your skill and determInation. the path travelled is still dangerous and i must warn you to guard against those who would betray you to the evil tyrant who holds thEse sacred lands in his bony grasp. beware my friend and may we meet soon at the pLace where the weeds are thick and the stones are fallen.
his most powerful and great excellancy, the unnameable one
To My Most Ingenious And Admired Adversary,
I have gained some knowledge of which you will be most interested. Through careful manouvering I have found the location of your Emporer Lucknar. I know you are well aware of my position over the trivial nature of human affairs, but it is in both our interests to see the emporer freed from his human captivity. Please see that this message is placed in the appropriate hands and not returned to the darker authority that rules our land. The time of the reckoning is nigh and we must prepare ourselves for the final judgement of our god. His excellancy is located in the lowest level of the deepest, most unpenetratable dungeon. The entrance is in the first Way Tower between the town of Lethandor and the home of our most glorious mortal ally.
May our god have blessings upon this venture, and grant us mercy at the final call.
A friend.
For the attention of Bishop Chryssania and her fellows
I have recently learnt of your foolhardy attempt to overthrow the dark powers which rule this land. You have unknowingly caused my kind great harm with your short sighted deeds. It is time for you to make amends and show your true worth. The tyrant you seek to dispose must not have harm befall him. he is infinitley more valuable to the cause of justice with breath in his body. Kill all the servants you wish, but the white serpant circling the palace must not be slain. Instead, to appease my anger, you must introduce him to the traitor.
