The Players

Jack Bateson
Dungeon Master, creator of Hurssia, and all round sex god. He's got a lot to answer for. He's currently living with Malcolm - and it'd better not be as bad as it sounds! ;-) photos

Tim Broach
Tim joined Jack's AD&D in 96, leaving a year later to return to America, and to start a medical degree. He decides he'd like to roleplay on a visit back here and starts 2 websites, a full reunion of old friends, and a good weekend of roleplaying (The Summons Campaign). Tim played Silanus, a mage, and will hopefully continue his input via email.

Marc Brown
Marc's a PhD student, studying chemical physics here at UKC. He roleplays far too often, and still managed to get a first in '99. Marc's moving onto campus this year. Most known for playing the mighty coward Randall. Marc's character is a gnome illusionist/cleric of Griss called Elrood in the wizard's campaign.

Malcolm Campbell
Master of the infamous Whiteflight (the gay blade), and in the reunion played Bhumibol Carline - at least until Whiteflight turned up again, this time in the guise of Laranthug. Neil once said Whiteflight is the 'unflushable turd' of PCs. Well, like character, like player - Malcolm has returned from Nottingham and has joined the wizard's capaign as 'Dandelion' - as dubbed by Elrood. However, Del spent most of her time as an amnesiac frog, and is now a vampire. New character is Raloul.

Geoff Chapman
Geoff graduated in '99 with a 22, and now works full time. He lives with Ben and Chris. Geoff's most known for skillfully handling Sir Corwin Demonslayer, perhaps the most valuable member of the party, at least in his own eyes. Geoff's playing an Angakok from the Ardinian Empire called Serebok, who along with Elrood, avoided being bitten in the neck by being totally drunk and accidently escaping.

Chris Fawcett
Chris studies at Christchurch. Due to Whiteflight's evilness, Chris has gone through many characters but most recently Aspen. Chris's high level character is Darien, a translator for Sir Corwen. In the wizards campaign, he was playing a human illusionist called Edward.
Edward's now a vampire too.

David Godsell
David is the AGS's new senior member, and has joined Jack's Campaign. He's a bit of a dark horse (and for some reason, doesn't wear a wedding ring, but insists he's married...) ;-) He played a thief named Eldrid, and now plays Gandor, a fighter-mage.

Ian Harvey
An ex physics-studying drama student, Ian doesn't have much time to roleplay in amongst the hundreds of things he does. Last year, he became infamous for the pyromaniac and dead Florimel . For the Summons, he played Tiriel, Florimel's niece.

Buff Jung
Ex-Housemate of Geoff and Marc, Buff finished her degree in Computer Systems Engineering in 2000 (gaining a 2ii, congratulations!). She made her name as the devious player of Radigund and has moved out of reach. Scuttlebutt has it that Buff's thinking of moving to America with Jerome...

Jake Kelly
Nobely controlling Count Kael We managed to find Jake, and he joined us too (hurrah!) for the reunion, and recently for Chryssiana's quest. Previously last seen in 1998, Jake was most remembered (by Jack and myself at least) for walking in to Jack's AD&D one fine evening and stripping off his leather trousers. What more could we ask for? Although he lives too far away now to play weekly, he's always welcome.

Neil McLean
Neil played Skarra, whose plans should never be listened to. In the Wizard's campaign, he played an old, alcoholic, level drained necromancer (Sebrian), who's now a vampire, and the cause of everyone else's vampiric evilness. He's come back as Jessica - Sebrian's evil, Ravenloft linked wife. In real life, Neil's a librarian (which means he gets to write roleplay stuff all day at work - we're jealous.

Claire Morton
And apparently I'm best known for far too nicely playing the psycho Kurngrim. In The Summons I returned to playing Brangwen. My new character was Thorin, the first ever dwarven mage. He's now the first ever vampire dwarven mage. Intro Kyar, child genius. I'm a Christian, and I've just finished my degree in psychology here at UKC.

Indran Sivarajah
Many many characters, all died in bad ways (quite a few of them due to other party members). These include Zelda, Loketus, Beleana, Brother Indran, and Taekmar. His longest lasting character is Cryssania. Indran was playing a human transmuter in the new campaign, named Drake, who's now, guess what, a vampire. His replacement character is a runecaster, Te'ryus. Indran is constantly five minutes behind the rest of the group, though he often stuns us by working out by himself what it takes the whole group together to figure out. Indran got a well deserved first in 1999, and is now studying for a phd.
